i want to live a buddhist’s life.

i want to live a buddhist’s life.

by shally aduca

(philippines)

I have a deep longing to train myself in a Buddhist way, by living it. I have attended lectures and visited temples in the Philippines; they gave me books to read to enrich my spiritual life, and I would like to continue to be trained in this way of life because it leads me closer the higher Being.

Training and education is the best way to attain one’s goals.

Are you dedicated to the point of wanting to become a nun? Or do you want to be a dedicated lay person?

Also, what kind of Buddhism attracts you the most?

You can answer in the comment section below.

Thank you!

Hugo

I’m not sure I can help you much but I can advise you to choose a temple and start get volunteering at the temple. By being part of that community, you will certainly feel a sense of belonging and a sense of accomplishment.

Gratitude,

Hugo

no temple here.

by: shally aduca

right now, i am here in Africa working as a nurse. i have not found any buddhist temple here where you want me to visit because this is an islamic community…. each time i visit the “japanese buddhism” blog, to read and study the principles of buddhism…buddhist practise and the like, this is as if i am entering the door of a buddhist temple.;this is why i would like to read anything about how to live a buddhist’s life, because it gives me a renewed spirit.; where can i find more readings? thank you.

Also register to the mailing list if you have not done so already. (right side of the page)

I will add more information here as time goes and I will make sure to include it in my newsletter.

Thank you!

I, too, want to convert.

Raised catholic went to Catholic grammar school and College, I would like a more private personal approach to peacefuless.

I believe that(I didn’t say this first):

“The purpose of life is to help others get through it.”
