Which are the 192 countries Nichiren Buddhism is present in?

Total there are 196 countries in the world. What are the country that do not have SGI members?

I always confusing the total countris that have SGI members. I had read short news in Soka Gakkai magazines 3 years ago stated that SGI now has expanded to 195 countries. However, i could not recall the magazine publication years. I am looking for it as well.

Therefore, please halp me to find out the answer. Many thanks.

Nichiren Buddhism went to 192 countries so far.

I need to know which are the 192 countries so that I can list them out. I’m a leader of Soka Gakkai Malaysia (Selangor branch)..thanks.

Hello and thank you for your question.
I couldn’t find the exact countries Nichiren is present into, for the correct information, you should communicate with SGI directly.

However, I can make and educated guess.

There are 195 countries in the world (you can see the list here: http://geography.about.com/od/countryinformation/a/capitals.htm)

So with a simple process of elemination, we can guess which 3 countries do not have Nichiren associations. It is not difficult to imagine that Buddhism is not present in Vatican city as it is the capital of the Catholic world. Also, North Korea would have a crack down on anything Japanese and religion in general. That’s 2.

The third one is really a guess but I would say Afghanistan, Iran or Saudi Arabia as they have Muslim government.
Sorry that I can’t be more precise than that.
