My mother brought me to a meeting in 1971. I was 17 when the Sho Hondo was completed in 1972. I was present at the ceremony to move the Dai Gohonzon. I wanted to know what was happening with the organization as I had dropped out many years ago. Boy, was I surprised. That the Sho Hondo was destroyed is the same as when the Afghani's destroyed those two ancient buddhas carved into the rock. There must be a mighty ego on the throne.
