Japanese Buddhism Gallery

I made a gallery of japanese Buddhism pictures because Japanese Buddhism is, among all the form of Buddhism one of the most aesthetic.  When we think of Japanese Buddhism, we have a mental image of pure lines, simple decors and austherity.  This has come to be called by the adjective of zen.  For example, we can often hear that :"His living room is very zen!" or "I like his zen bathroom. "

On this page, you will be able to enjoy many pictures related to Japanese Buddhism.  Most of them are from Japan but some are taken in different countries and are from the enlarged Japanese Buddhism family that spread all over the world.
